Post-funeral receptions
Daelhof offers post-funeral receptions in order to offer families and relatives the opportunity to gather at a reception immediately after the farewell ceremony. Well presented and affordable meals and drinks receptions can take place in a peaceful setting with a view over the woodland.
After the ceremony you can go straight to the room reserved for you, no need to take your car and move to a different location. Our catering staff provide a friendly welcome and helpful service for your guests.
Our reception rooms
The crematorium Daelhof building has five attractively decorated rooms, each with a seating capacity for 50 persons. A system of modular walls enable us to transform several rooms into a larger space for up to 200 people, seated. In addition, each room has a sound system, a flat-screen TV and a control panel with a USB connection for sound and images to play, such as videos and slideshows.
Crematorium Daelhof offers various catering options, including classic coffee tables, but also cold buffets and standing receptions. In joint consultation, a large reception (for maximum 300 persons) can even be organized in the main hall.
A reception room is at your disposal for two hours, which corresponds to the usual duration of a meal with coffee. It is possible to use the room longer, but this implies a small extra charge and of course needs to be booked in advance.

We offer the possibility to adjust the menus of our post-funeral receptions according to your wishes, your taste and your budget. Maybe you and your guests would like us to prepare a favourite dish of your loved one? We would be happy to do so if our internal organisation and other activities allow it at the time.
Our caterers will try to ensure that alternative menus are available to those with food allergies or intolerances, provided that we are informed prior to the event.
